New in Forever

New and newly trainable abilities

6 abilities are new at the class trainer or trainable for the first time:

  • Revive (level 12, new): Brings a dead player back to life with 70 health and 135 mana.
  • Feral Charge (Bear) (level 20, new): Charge an enemy, immobilizing them and interrupting any spell they are casting for 4 sec.
  • Omen of Clarity (level 20, now trainable): Your spells and attacks have a chance to grant you Clearcasting, reducing the Mana, Rage, or Energy cost of your next damage or healing spell or offensive ability by 100%.
  • Lacerate (level 42, new): Lacerates the enemy target, making them bleed for 50 damage over 15 sec plus 10% weapon damage per existing application of Lacerate on the target.
  • Primal Bite (level 50, new): Bite the target, dealing 100% normal damage plus 38 and generating a high amount of threat.
  • Wild Growth (level 50, new): Heals the target and their party for 493 over 7 sec.

Reworked talent trees

Of 52 talents, 14 are new and 35 changed compared with Classic Era (renamed, moved or reworked). Examples of new talents:

  • Genesis (Balance, at 5/5): Increases the periodic damage and healing done by your spells and abilities by 10%.
  • Lacerate (Feral, 1/1): Lacerates the enemy target, making them bleed for 20 damage over 15 sec plus 10% weapon damage per existing application of Lacerate on the target. Causes a high amount of threat. This effect stacks up to 5 times on the same target.
  • Bloom (Restoration, 1/1): When your Rejuvenation or Regrowth spell expires due to its duration, the target is instantly healed for an amount equal to 100% of your Spirit. If either spell expires due to being dispelled, the target is healed for 50% of your Spirit instead.

Tier list ratings

As of 1 November 2026. The tiers combine several tier lists and a level-60 simulation (median, details on the rankings page).

Reasons in brief:

  • Feral, PvE DPS (raid): The simulation (65%) and RankedBoost say B.
  • Balance, PvE DPS (raid): The simulation (58%) and SeeMeta say B, RankedBoost C.
  • Restoration, PvE healers: Almost unanimously A: best raid throughput via Wild Growth and HoTs (which can crit in Forever), little utility besides Innervate and Rebirth.
  • Feral, PvE tanks: Both level-60 models put the bear on top: highest threat in the simulation, high effective health, Primal Bite with Berserk, and unmatched as an off-tank.
  • Feral, PvP (battleground/open world): Most mobile PvP spec: Feral Charge roots and interrupts, Berserk grants fear immunity.
  • Balance, PvP (battleground/open world): Moonkin Form adds armor but blocks healing; RankedBoost A, SeeMeta B.
  • Restoration, PvP (battleground/open world): Nature's Swiftness and Swiftmend for instant heals, escape via shapeshifting; RankedBoost B.

Beta/PTR state before the 4 November 2026 launch. The sources rely on the level-30 beta, talent analysis and simulations – there are no raid logs yet. Ratings will change after launch.

Context

The tiers above rest on the beta (capped at level 30), talent analysis and simulations – raid logs only exist once the raids open on 9 December 2026. If you want to play a Druid, pick the specialization mainly by role and feel, and read the tiers as a snapshot.

For finding groups, keep the role balance in mind: tanks and healers are usually in higher demand in dungeons and raids than damage dealers. Plan the talent tree in the talent calculator and share it with your group as a link; from level 40, dual talent specialization lets you keep two builds.
